Education is one of the most effective means to prevent the social exclusion of the young and to ensure smooth transition into the working life. Knowledge Platform Education and Training offers opportunities to share your own best practices, to learn from the others and also to cooperate with other actors and projects in order to start new development processes and to have an impact in the national, regional and EU-level activities and policies.

In the years 2020 and 2021 Knowledge Platform will concentrate on three major themes, which are as follows:

• STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) Path for every child and youngster
• Basic Skills or Upgrading Pathways (youngsters with problems with basic skills, such as math, literacy and IT)
• Attractiveness of Vocational Education and Training

The idea behind the theme-based approach is that concentrating on certain themes would make cooperation and creation of common goals and projects easier.

Activities include study visits, workshops, seminars, implementation of new transnational projects, dissemination of good practices and cooperation with other networks and actors.
