17,6 percent of the 20-34 year-olds in the EU in 2020 were neither in employment nor in education and training (NEETs)*. Integration of NEETs is one of numerous societal challenge that calls for transnational cooperation, structured learning and joint development of adequate replies to the challenge.

The knowledge platform Integrate NEETs collects and analyses good examples from the Baltic Sea Region in the field of transition and integration of NEETs into labour market. This knowledge is a base for the work of thematic working groups where new methods and policy recommendations are produced in joint transnational development processes. Five thematic working groups are: entrepreneurship, labour market integration, education and training, civil society involvement and resource centres with multi-competence teams.

New tailor-made education for Coordinators

Within the thematic working group on resource centres with multi-competence teams, Youth Guidance Centres, a new transnational education has been developed, Coordinator Training Program. The education is directed towards the new profession of Coordinator of Youth Guidance Centres. You will find more information about the education on its webpage.
